The Virtual Museum of Soils of Tomsk State University (Tomsk)
The Virtual Museum of Soils was established in order to present photographic images of samples and to show all the nuances that cant be reflected by the most detailed soil descriptions.
The explanations and geographical «pegs» are included to the illustrations.
The site is accessible to all users. It gives an opportunity to see unique soils of Siberia with descriptions for to compare them with own research. The author of the site says about the decision of large distances problem for many researchers.
